Geek82 and C-Land deliver a powerful tribute to mothers in their latest song – “Balloons”
Talented hip hop acts, Geek82 and C-Land, collaborate to release new hit single titled “Balloons,” where they deliver a powerful Godly tribute to mothers who lose kids every day to violence
Jymius Brantan Wright, formerly known with the stage name Lil J-Moe, and now Geek82 has collaborated with another amazing single titled “Balloons.” Released on the 16th February 2019, the song contains thought-provoking lyrics, with the duo delivering a powerful Godly tribute to mothers who lose their kids every day to violence and other senseless acts.
The music and entertainment industry as a whole has evolved over the years with different stakeholders in the industry using their creativity to entertain their fans while passing subtle messages to listeners. While the industry has developed in recent times, many of the artists seem to have digressed from the real essence of making music – relaying messages in a subtle way. This is where Jymius Brantan Wright, also known as Geek82 has been able to make a huge difference over the years by making message-filled songs for music lovers.
“Balloons” is a further reiteration of Geek82’s creativity and ingenuity as well as his dedication to continuously making nothing but good music, with Geek82 pouring out his heart as he hopes the song helps to reduce gun violence. The song celebrates motherhood, suggesting that mothers deserve more than just a memorial on the sidewalk as life itself will never be the same without them. The song also talks about one of the greatest pains of urban America where the black die young, cutting short their dream of becoming responsible citizens of the country.
“Balloons” as well as other projects including Chanel and Misdirection from the multifaceted entertainer are currently available on Geek82’s website and Facebook.
